Safeguarding and Inclusion Manager

Camp Beaumont is looking for a passionate and experienced Safeguarding & Inclusion Manager to ensure every child has a fun, safe, and inclusive experience during their time with us. About the Role

As the Safeguarding & Inclusion Manager, you will lead on all aspects of safeguarding and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) across Camp Beaumont sites. Working closely with our Operations and Workforce teams, you'll respond lead the SEN bookings process, respond to concerns, support inclusion strategies, and ensure our practices are always aligned with the highest standards.

This is a hybrid role, with a mix of remote work and regular on-site visits to our camps in the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities

          Safeguarding Leadership:

  • Be part of the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) team across the organisation.
  • Respond to safeguarding queries, manage incidents, and liaise with external authorities.
  • Maintain accurate safeguarding records and oversee the use of safeguarding tools such as Patronas.

    SEND & Inclusion Support:

  • Support the inclusion of children with SEND, medical needs, and allergies.
  • Develop individual support plans and advise on 1:1 requirements.
  • Work directly with parents, carers, and staff to support inclusive practice.

    Policy, Training & Quality Assurance:

  • Review and implement safeguarding and inclusion policies.
  • Deliver training across the organisation and monitor compliance.
  • Conduct on-site audits and provide staff mentoring and development.

    Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of safeguarding and inclusion.
  • Support the Customer Experience Team with parent communications and complaints.

    What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a safeguarding-focused role within a child-centred environment.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and SEND best practice.
  • Confident communicator with excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience delivering training and advising on behaviour management.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., teaching, social work, child protection) – desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS check (provided by Camp Beaumont).
