Join our fantastic team at Camp Beaumont over Easter & the Summer holidays as an Early Years Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in creating safe, nurturing, and inspiring experiences for our youngest campers. If you’re passionate about early childhood development and love delivering fun, meaningful activities, this is a brilliant opportunity to make a real impact during the school holidays.

You’ll work closely with the camp leadership team to deliver high-quality early years provision, ensuring every child feels happy, supported, and excited to learn through play.

  • Heatherton School, Amersham HP6 5QB

 

About the role :

As an Early Years Coordinator, you’ll take the lead in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities for our Early Years age groups, while supporting and guiding staff to maintain outstanding standards of care and learning.

Your role will include:

  • Leading and coordinating the Early Years provision on camp
  • Planning and delivering fun, creative, and developmentally appropriate activities
  • Supporting practitioners and Group Leaders working within Early Years
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
  • Promoting children’s confidence, independence, and social development
  • Ensuring safeguarding, welfare, and well-being standards are always met

Activities may include creative play, movement, storytelling, arts & crafts, outdoor exploration, and much more. 

 

About you (Essential Requirements) :

You’ll be a positive role model with a genuine passion for early childhood education. You must be:

  • 17 years old or over
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare (Early Years, QTS / PGCE) or be studying towards a relevant childcare qualification
  • Available to work during the school holidays
  • A UK/EU citizen with 2 x right-to-work IDs
  • Full of energy, enthusiasm, and creativity
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Confident using initiative and working independently
  • Aware of safeguarding children (full training provided)
  • Able to commute to Amersham or Berkhamsted

 Desirable (but not essential) :

  • Previous camp experience
  • Paediatric First Aid

    Pay & Requirements

    • £13.20 per hour
    • You must have the legal right to live and work in the UK
    • Successful candidates must complete an enhanced DBS check and provide two professional references
