Finance Manager based in Maldon Essex £45,000 – £55,000 per annum
As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and improving the financial health and process of the companies you manage. This includes managing financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and helping insights to drive efficiency and profitability.
Management accounts:
Reconcile income to till system / online booking systems
Submit quarterly VAT returns accurately and on time
Support the area managers to achieve financial targets with regular P&L reviews
Be proactive in finding efficiencies and cost savings in the day to day running
Managing fixed asset registers
Credit and Debtor Control
Financial Reporting:
Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency including; balance sheet reconciliations
Assist in preparation of year end statutory accounts
Ideal person:
Will be a Qualified Accountant who holds ACCA, CIMA or CA
Has the ability to direct others and delegate tasks
Good understanding of how to take action and seek solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical skills
Ability to work with many other teams or individuals to resolve financial issues
Advanced mathematical abilities for compiling and analysing data
Attention to detail and in-depth understanding of international and domestic laws and regulations
Technological skills and the ability to work independently
