English in Action Tutor - Day Camps
Camp Beaumont Asia is seeking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Tutor to teach students locally and internationally. As a Tutor, you will help improve reading, writing, and comprehension skills in a fun and engaging environment.
We are looking for…
- Previous experience in teaching English is advantageous
- Possess previous experience working in a classroom environment
- TESOL/TEFL CERTIFICATE or equivalent qualification (recommended)
- Minimum a B4 grade for GCE "O" levels in English or equivalent qualification
- Possess at least a Degree in Education or an equivalent qualification

We operate across the globe including the UK, Southeast Asia & Hong Kong, offering Day camps, Residential experiences & Outdoor Adventure weeks for children ages 3-15 years old.
The Role: English in Action Tutor
As an English in Action tutor, you will be responsible for safeguarding the welfare and facilitating the learning experience of children across diverse age groups and varying language competencies. Training and all materials needed to carry out a lesson will be provided.
The Tutor must exemplify the overall company purpose and values of – ‘Keep it Simple’; ‘Know your Stuff’; ‘Give it your all’; ‘Make it Fun’ and ‘Own it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and always create a conducive classroom environment for the children
- Adhering to the lesson plans provided and delivering lessons at a high standard
- Ensuring the company's safety policies and procedures are followed and enhanced throughout each activity

Typical knowledge, skills and experience
- Above the age of 21 years
- You must be legally allowed to work in the country you are applying.
- Have a passion for working with children
- Strong command of the English Language (written and spoken)
About you:
- Possess at least a Degree in Education or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum a B4 grade for GCE "O" levels in English or equivalent qualification
- TESOL/TEFL CERTIFICATE or equivalent qualification (recommended)
- Be available to take up this role during the international summer holiday period ONLY.
i) All offered placements are managed and delivered solely by Camp Beaumont Asia.
ii) For safeguarding purposes, all successful applicants will go through a valid background check before Camp Beaumont Asia can confirm any placements.

This role will be based at our host school Nexus International School, Singapore.
Training & Induction (Mandatory):
For the right candidate, we offer comprehensive training and mentorship to empower you and increase performance.
- You will need to attend 3-4 days of mandatory training and an induction prior to the camp. Whilst getting paid to attend!
- We ask that you bring bundles of energy and passion…and we will teach you the rest!
